A link to break up my hiatus, due to popular demand: the teaser trailer for James Cameron’s Avatar. It doesn’t seem like the groundbreaking film many were hoping for, and I can only hope that the cartoonish look comes off much better in 3D, as it did for Beowulf.

I am seeing the sixteen minute 3d preview tonight. I hope it makes me feel better about the movie than this Jar-Jar-Binks looking trailer does.

Hi, I'm a unicorn-fantasy creature. If I were in a fantasy book, I'd be having sex with other blue unicorn creatures, but since this is a movie, we'll probably just come bearing love and happiness.

Those guys look awful.

Saw the sixteen minute preview in IMAX 3D last night. Much better looking tan the trailer.
The blue creatures look really realistic (all things considered) compared to the look in the trailer. We saw a bunch of scenes and it felt a little Dances With Wolves to me. The Na'vi are very native american-y. Piqued my interest a lot more.
