An interview with David Milch about the season finale of John from Cincinnati , and the show in general. The most interesting line, having nothing to do with JFC:
I wrote (“Deadwood’s”) Al Swearingen for Ed [O’Neill]…If he’d had that part the show would still be running.
Woah, what’s he saying about Ian McShane’s role in Deadwood ‘s cancellation?

Ed O'Neill as in Al Bundy?
whenever i want info about David Milch, i read Crazymonk's Milchnews Daily!
The very same. Ed O'Neill was the best part of John from Cincinnati.
ps, maybe he's just saying that ian mcshane grew in popularity and is now in high demand, so he couldn't commit to staying on "deadwood," whereas ed o'neill is... ed o'neill.
keep in mind, i love ed o'neill. but unless stan nikita's donuts needs a new spokesperson, well, you know...
Is there any source material for the viewer who was hoked up to John from Cincinnati, to read since the series is cancelled? Thanks.
