Boards of Canada-produced track for The Sexual Objects
Boards of Canada are coming out of hiding, sort of, producing a few tracks by Scottish band The Sexual Objects. You can listen to one of the tracks, “Here Come the Rubber Cops,” on MySpace. It’s the first track in the list, labeled as “The Sexual Objects” – the one with the The-Man-Who-Sold-the-World riff. (thx, endepth08)

It's pretty good- it definitely has more going on in it than the other sexual objects tune up there (presumably not boc-produced), which sounds a bit kinks-lite and also has a vaguely bowie-ish modulation going on in it. Not that "more going on" necessarily equals better, but on first listen they aren't the most exciting band ever. This next tune, by a band called Found I guess, is pretty nifty though (singer sounds a lot like mellow gold beck, but the horn samples and freeness are kinda wicked, coming from the happy-go-lucky-side of whatever planet fourtet lives on).
It's possible that I feel pretty good about future pilot aka as well.
Eh, the vocals aren't panning out quite the way I'd hoped they would.
