Wow. So it seems Morgan Spurlock's next doc is just a gimmick doc, with no real substance. What a change. At least it will entertain.

That's an interesting claim to make with knowing nothing about the film except the one sentence premise.

On the other hand, I'll agree with you that Supersize Me is gimmicky.

And 30 Days is gimmicky. And the doc he is producing about a preacher that is against buying presents that is being released soon is gimmicky. And he is gimmicky. I liked Supersize Me, but thought it didn't do much. I like my docs to have a little more weight. Go see My Kid Could Paint That. It was great.

well, if by "gimmicky" you mean that "supersize me inspired me to not eat fast food anymore, ever, and that can't possibly be a bad thing," then yes, by all means, totally fucking gimmicky.

I love Reverend Billy though. I'm delighted to see a documentary on him and The Church of Stop Shopping. It's my life's dream to be walking by a Starbucks that he's preaching in, but even if they stuck a GPS on him ... there are so many i still might not find him.
