Saul Williams on the origin of Niggy Tardust. Looks like he’ll be following Bowie’s example and making Niggy Tardust his alter ego, with costumes and theatrical performances included.

How are they releasing the CD, do you know? There must be a distro channel, even if there isn't a full-blown label deal. Is a physical CD release necessary because not everyone will be able to get it through strictly digital means? If that is not the justification for a CD version, what is?
