Hah, they aren't really comparable. Portland is in the Pacific Northwest, Spokane is pretty much Idaho.

no, jon - commenter jesse is who ya know. you've never met cross country biker jesse, i don't think. college protocol is last name generally, so we didn't have too much of an issue - especially given biker jesse's special last name. it's hooker. aka hooks, hookdiggity, or the foon. i doubt he'll start commenting regularly, and he has plenty of aliases to go by if he do.

I hope he goes by hooker.
