Brad Pitt: Picks great people to work with. Terrible actor.

I would agree that he's a much better comedic/roguish actor than dramatic actor, but I wouldn't say he's terrible. And actually, now that I think of it, I sort of liked his performance as Jesse James. This movie I think he'll be good in as well, as it fits into the "roguish" category.

He speaks little in Jesse James, which suits him. I think he does fine with comedy, and he certainly has a presence, his acting is just lacking. I never really connect to anyone he plays. I suppose that is why his comedy works. The filmmaker is not asking us to connect with whatever character he is playing, they are asking us to laugh. But tell me that during that whole trailer you aren't thinking to yourself "that's Brad Pitt".

Hard not to do that with any superstar actor. But actually, I was doing that more during "Benjamin Button," but there my thought was more like: he has a disease that turns him into Brad Pitt!

i thought brad pitt had already signed on to play both roles in this movie, but his name is not listed, so we'll see if it gets made. it would be kind of like doing "being john malkovich" without malkovich.

i was totally with that shit until hitler was in it. oddly, this is the one time that hitler in something DIDN'T seem like a plus to me.

i agree that brad pitt is more likable when he's doing the comedy. i never cared for him until fight club. now, every time i see him, i think "oh, awesome, i like brad pitt because i like fight club."

also, i am now officially disappointed that simon pegg couldn't do this movie.

also, that title treatment is bitchin'.

also, that chad schmit movie does sorta seem like conrad sat down and thought "i need an idea like malkovich that isn't quite like malkovich!"

no sale.

although, it more closely resembles this episode of mork and mindy.
