Uh oh. HBO execs are waffling on their original plans to wrap up the David Milch’s great Deadwood series with two movie-length episodes. With many Milch fans disappointed by John from Cincinnati (I’m supportive, but the latest episode didn’t bode well), this could lead to a subscription riot.

Boo! Come on, give me some Deadwood closure. I'll even pay attention when those odd theater people show up again. As for JIC, so far I like it a lot. But yes, last weeks episode was a stinker. Still, I love Ed On'Neil's soliloquys with his bird Zippy, but I want to see more Al Sweringen soliloquys while getting a bj.

Ditto that. I haven't seen JIC, but I devoured Deadwood on DVD and I want me some closure. The HBO exec quoted implies the network is supportive and that Milch is the holdout -- anyone know if that's accurate?

It's JFC, folks. I.e., Jesus Fucking Christ. Either that, or Jesus Fried Chicken.

Maybe the sex show will win back the subscribers.

i still haven't watched ep. 5, but i'm with crazymonk. my jFc interest is waning. ed o'neill is the best part of the show. but, it has to start GOING somewhere. i don't need explanations; i need direction.
