When shopping for Christmas ornaments, have you ever asked yourself: “What if the fetus you were going to abort would grow up to be a soldier bringing democracy to a godless dictatorship?” I have too, and now there’s an answer. (thx, jds)

That is a wonderful wonderful website.

So, would Christians be more pissed if (a) Jesus came again as a fetus, but got aborted or (b) if Jesus came again, but he was Hispanic. I'm thinking the latter would upset them more ... especially if Jesus were an illegal immigrant who came to America and then took American Jesus' job.

Also, he'd have a better chance of being named Jesus that way.

After investigating, I don't think they're genuine evangelicals, but it's unfortunate for our country that it was even a possibility.

Yeah, they're definitely a satire site: "Note to the confused: This is a real product, from a real site. The product is a satire, but it is also a real product - FOR SALE."

-It is satirical, but then, I kinda do think Miss Poppy really is a Christian. But maybe not. Unclear.
" Isn't MissPoppy.com making fun of Jesus?
Jesus continually defies attempts by humanity to nail him down. He gave us two simple commandments: to love ourselves and our neighbor as ourselves. Instead of focusing on these two commandments Christianity has fractured into thousands of variations, each variation with a Jesus it claims to own exclusively, and a list of rules it applies freely to everyone else. Jesus was frustrated with this kind of behavior.

"Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching
for doctrines the commandments of men."
Jesus, Mark 7:7

Miss Poppy is a born again Christian. As much as is possible she honors Jesus by integrating his two commandments into her life and business.
Please review our values below."

I think the creators are Christian, but against seriousness, Big God, etc.. From jesus21.com (their non-store site):

Adult Christianity was founded in the Fall of 1995. Its original mission described Adult Christianity as "an antidote to the Christian Right." The mission included "defending the rights of the un-BornAgain, challenging destructive dogmas and agendas with humor and critiquing the prophet motive."

They sure are clever, though. "Jesus continually defies attempts by humanity to nail him down." Ha! Not that first time!
